Flash floods kill 23 in Indonesia

FLORES: In Indonesia, 23 people have been killed and nine others injured as torrential rains triggered flash floods in Flores Island. Spokesman for disaster management agency BNPB in a statement said about 49 families were hit and dozens of houses were buried in mud in Lamanele village.

Biden orders to remove Patriot system, forces from Persian Gulf

WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden has ordered the Pentagon to start removing Patriot anti-missile systems, other military hardware and forces from the Persian Gulf region.
