Russia registers ‘world’s first’ Covid vaccine for animals
Moscow, March 31 : Russia announced Wednesday it had registered what it said was the world’s first coronavirus vaccine for animals, describing the step as important to disrupting mutations. It said mass production of the vaccine could begin in April. COVID-19 claims 78 lives, infects 4,757 more people
ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 : The national tally on Wednesday of total active COVID-19 cases recorded was 50,397 with 4,757 more people tested positive for the deadly virus and 2,848 people recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours. Pakistani rupee climbs to 152 against US dollar
KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee extended gains against the United States (US) dollar at the start of Wednesday’s trading in the inter-bank currency market. According to forex dealers, the greenback opened at Rs151.50 against the local unit but later rebounded to Rs152.25.
