Explosion reported in Chaman, five dead

QUETTA  –  An explosion was reported on Chaman’s Mall Road on Monday morning. Five people have been killed and 10 injured. The victims have been taken to Civil Hospital, Chaman where an emergency has been imposed. The police said a motorcycle carrying explosives detonated near an ANF vehicle. The site has been cordoned off and search operations are being conducted in nearby areas. Hizbul Ahrar, a terrorist organisation that split from Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in 2014, has claimed the responsibility of the blast.
