MIREILLE ZIESENISS IS THE NEW U.S. EMBASSY SPOKESPERSON

Islamabad, July 24, 2020 : U.S. Embassy Islamabad is pleased to announce that Mireille Zieseniss will serve as the Embassy Spokesperson effective July 22, 2020. In that role she will also facilitate media interviews, press briefings, and other activities with the Ambassador, Embassy officers, and visiting U.S. government officials.  She succeeds Joe Wierichs, who completed his tenure in Islamabad. Govt to share amendments in NAB law with opposition today

ISLAMABAD : The government is expected to share its proposed draft of amendments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws with the opposition in a meeting expected to be held today. Coronavirus infects 1,209 Pakistanis in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 1,209 new novel coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally of cases to 266,925. According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 54 deaths were also reported due to virus in last 24 hours.
