Australian streets named after Pakistani cricketing legends
A housing estate in the Australian city of Melbourne has streets named after Pakistan cricketing legends Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Shoaib Akhtar, SBS Hindi has reported. The streets are named Miandad Sreet, Akram Way, Khan Street, Inzamam Street and Akhtar Avenue. “Inquiries doubled as soon as we announced street named after cricketers,” property dealer Varun Sharma said while speaking with SBS Hindi.
