IHC grants bail to Ahsan Iqbal, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
ISLAMABAD, FEB 25 (DNA) : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Ahsan Iqbal and Shahiq Khaqan Abbasi in the Narowal Sports Complex and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) cases respectively. President grieved over death of ex-mayor Naimatullah Khan
ISLAMABAD, Feb 25 :President Dr Arif Alvi on Tuesday expressed grief and sorrow over the passing away of former mayor Karachi Naimatullah Khan. “A great man has left for eternal abode,” the president said in a tweet on the death of Naimatullah Khan at the age of 90. The president prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and for grant of patience to the bereaved family. Naimatullah Khan served as mayor of Karachi from 2001 to 2005.

K-Electric seeks increase in power tariffs for two quarters of 2019
KARACHI, FEB 25 (DNA) : K-electric has requested the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to allow increases in power tariff by Rs1.377 per unit and Rs1.444 per unit on account of fuel adjustments for two quarters from April-June and July to September, 2019, respectively.
