Back4good: 8,284 illegally migrated Pakistanis return from Malaysia

ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (DNA):Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Malaysia Amna Baloch on Friday said 8,284 illegally migrated Pakistanis had returned home from Malaysia under a four-month ‘Back4good’ amnesty scheme launched in August last year.   The scheme, that expired on December 31, 2019, was aimed at ensuring the voluntary return of illegal immigrants to their respective countries without any plenty, she said.   Giving general break-up, she said some 2,509 Pakistanis took benefit of the scheme during December, 1,880 in August, 1,216 in September, 1,275 in October and 1,404 in November.Read More

Govt to meet financial needs of higher education: PM

Election campaign of candidates for deputy launched in Azerbaijan

An election campaign in the run-up to Parliament has been launched in Azerbaijan.   Report says the beginning tonight the registered candidates, political parties, blocs of political parties, authorized representatives and agents can hold their campaigns.   The campaign will last until 8:00 on February 8.   The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for February 9 this year.
