Law ministry decides to amend Production Orders’ rule of procedure in NA
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The Ministry of Law and Justice has decided to amend the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in National Assembly (NA) regarding the issuance of the production orders of members of the NA. According to sources, amendments will be made in the Rule 108 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the NA, 2007, and Section 84 of the Rules of Procedure of the Senate. Scuffle with police case: Court extends Safdar’s bail till October 12
LAHORE (DNA) – A sessions court in Lahore on Saturday extended the pre-arrest bail of former premier Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law captain (rtd) Safdar till October 12, and refrained police from arresting him in scuffling with police case. Additional Sessions Judge Tajamul Shahzad heard an application filed by Safdar for extending his bail, fearing that he might be arrested in cases against him.
