World Cup 2019: Pakistan beat South Arica by 49 runs

LONDON: (DNA)  –    Pakistan defeated South Africa   by 49 runs in  the 30th match of the ICC World Cup 2019 here at Lord’s. Chasing 309, South Africa were restricted to 259 for nine in 50 overs.


NAB issues performance report

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) said it has arrested 4000 people till now and the success rate of proving the crimes remained at 70 %. As per report NAB received 426000 complaints of corruption and action was taken on 14000 applications. The report added that an inquiry was launched over 8000 applications while 4200 cases were formally investigated. It said bureau filed 3500 references of corruption in the courts and 1231 references pertaining to Rs900 billion of corruption money are under hearing.

Pakistan, UK sign MoU over Ishaq Dar’s extradition

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan and the United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding extradition of former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
