DUBAI: (DNA) – Reports regarding arrest of Owais Muzaffar, alias Tappi, were rejected on Monday shortly after TV channels reported that the foster brother of Asif Zardari was taken into custody by the Interpol. Owais Muzaffar Tappi arrested in Dubai
ISLAMABAD: (DNA) – Close aide of former president Asif Ali Zardari and former lawmaker Owais Muzaffar Tappi was arrested from Dubai, sources said on Tuesday. Muzaffar, alias Tappi, has been arrested for his involvement in a case pertaining to money laundering of billions through fictitious bank accounts. Summonses issued to Nawaz, Abbasi for using bullet proof cars for personal purpose
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday has issued summonses to ex-prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for using bullet proof cars for personal purposes during their tenure. The anti-corruption watchdog, while opening another inquiry against the former premiers, has said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi used bullet proof cars that were brought for South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference for personal matters. The team also interrogated Sharif’s principal secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad and former foreign secretary in this regard.
