UAE ambassador meets army chief
RAWALPINDI, NOV 29 (DNA) Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, Ambassador of UAE to Pakistan met with Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, at GHQ. Matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. The two also met in May this year, and discussed the UAE-Pakistan Assistance Programme projects under way in Pakistan, the military’s media wing had said.

IIUI, Indonesian varsity agree to mutual cooperation in micro financing
ISLAMABAD, NOV 29 (DNA) – International Islamic university Islamabad (IIUI) and Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic university of Jakarta have agreed to further enhance bilateral cooperation in micro financing and create opportunities for exchange of delegations of teachers and students. Saudi Hajj Ministry announces individual E-Visas for Pilgrims
JEDDAH, (DNA) – Saudi Arabia Ministry of Haj and Umrah has announced electronic individual Umrah visas for Pilgrims. Addressing a workshop on “First phase of electronic visa” in Jeddah, a senior official of the Ministry said pilgrim dJata and images as well as their entire itinerary will be scanned and saved. He said e-visa is linked and integrated by various government agencies and would also enable the ministry to track the services provided to pilgrims.
