Govt taking concrete steps to eradicate money laundering: Barrister Shahzad
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Government of Pakistan pledged to take concrete measures to eradicate the menace of money laundering in the country. In a statement, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Barrister Shahzad Akbar said information regarding money laundering from ten countries is in progress to bring the culprits to justice. He said that he will go to Switzerland soon to sign memorandum of understanding with its financial institutions regarding exchange of information.
Navjot Sidhu to participate in Kartarpur groundbreaking ceremony
ISLAMABAD: (DNA) – Former Indian cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has said that he is all set to visit Pakistan again to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of Kartarpur border corridor, aimed to facilitate Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit one of the holiest sites in Pakistan. He said that it would be a great honour for him to be a part of history, a private news channel reported.
