Fire breaks out at cardboard factory in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, NOV 22 (DNA) – A massive fire erupted at a cardboard factory located in Lateef Garden area, Faisalabad. According to details, the blaze broke out early morning after which the laborers tried to extinguish it by themselves but it intensified. The locals immediately called on fire brigade for assistance. Arriving at the scene, the fire tenders launched rescue operation and evacuated the nearby buildings. However, no loss of life has been reported so far.


Govt devices gas load shedding management plan

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The government on Thursday has presented the gas load shedding plan for winters with a prior aim to provide gas to domestic and commercial users. The plan suggested to provide gas to consumers during winter by even supplying Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) instead of Sui gas. The details revealed that Finance Ministry will pay subsidy to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in order to eliminate the difference between prices of local gas and LNG.
