Unofficial results: PML-Q’s Ch Salik wins from NA-65
CHAKWAL (DNA) – Pakistan Muslim League Quaid’s (PML-Q) leader and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s son Chaudhry Salik has on Sunday secured victory from NA-65, Chakwal. As per details garnered, Salik secured 98634 votes. Earlier yesterday, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate pulled out of the race for the by-elections.
Thailand’s Tirawat wins Chief of Naval Staff Asian Tour Open Golf Championship
KARACHI, (DNA) – Thailand’s Tirawat won Chief of the Naval Staff Asian Tour Open Golf Championship at Karachi Golf Club today. Seventy international and 60 national Golfers participated in the championship. The Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony. Saudi dismisses threat of sanctions over Khashoggi
RIYADH, (DNA) – Saudi Arabia on Sunday dismissed threats of sanctions over the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and vowed that the oil-rich kingdom would retaliate with consequences for the world economy. PTI leading in by elections; likely to retain its seats
ISLAMABAD (DNA).. The ruling PTI is leading in the by elections. Results have started pouring in according to which PTI has edge over other parties. In Lahore however, PML N candidates are in better position as compared with PTI candidates. Shahidh Khaqan Abbasi is leading according to 20 per cent results.
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif casts vote in NA-124 constituency
LAHORE, (DNA) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo on Sunday cast his vote in Lahore’s NA-124. Nawaz Sharif will cast their vote in Government Technical College. In NA-124, a close competition is being expected between PML-N backed former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ghulam Mohiuddin.
