Delegation of US Department of State to visit Uzbekistan
TASHKENT , (DNA) – A delegation of the U.S. Department of State led by the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Brian McFeeters will pay visit to Uzbekistan. According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the US delegation will arrive in Uzbekistan on 12 September 2018. Brian McFeeters will hold meetings at the Cabinet of Ministers, the ministries of foreign affairs, foreign trade, economy, development of information technologies and communications. During meetings, the sides will discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres.
In a first, Wasa to introduce tunnel boring technology
LAHORE, (DNA) – In a first of its kind project, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has planned to lay down a new trunk sewer system using micro-tunnel boring technology at an estimated cost of Rs12 billion. Govt plans to cut PSDP by Rs380bln, shelve 400 unapproved schemes
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – The government is planning to abolish over 400 unapproved schemes, and also slash the current fiscal year’s Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) to Rs600-Rs650 billion from Rs1,030 billion, sources said on Tuesday.
