Army to implement policies framed by govt: Fawad
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad said on Friday that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa told Prime Minister Imran Khan in categorical terms that like other institutions army was bound to implement policies framed by the government. Talking to newsmen outside Parliament House he said, policy-making was the privilege of the elected government but it has to take all stakeholders on board. Iranian FM Javad Zarif meets Army Chief General Bajwa
RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – Mohammad Javad Zarif, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at GHQ. Regional security situation and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. COAS said that Pakistan is taking sincere steps for peace and security in the region. The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflict prevention in the region.

KARACHI: (DNA) – At least one naval airman was martyred on Friday as a Pakistan Navy helicopter crashed during a routine operational sortie on the Arabian Sea.
