11-member KP cabinet sworn in
PESHAWAR (DNA) – The new cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) took oath on Wednesday in a ceremony held in Governor House, Peshawar. At least 11 ministers were sworn-in during the first phase by acting governor Mushtaq Ghani. KP Chief Minister Mehmood Khan also attended the oath-taking ceremony. British High Commissioner calls on foreign minister Qureshi

ECP approves Arif Alvi’s nomination papers for presidency
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) gave a go-ahead to Arif Alvi, the nominee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for contesting the presidential elections, after approving his nomination papers. Presidential polls: ECP summons candidates for scrutiny of nomination papers
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has informed candidates, participating in presidential election to appear along with their proposer and seconders before the commission in Islamabad (Wednesday). The ECP also directed the proposers and seconders should bring their original national identity cards and membership cards issued by Senate or the relevant assembly.
