Four killed in bomb attack targeting MMA candidate Akram Durrani in Bannu
BANNU, (DNA) – At least four people have been killed and over a dozen others injured after a bomb went off near the convoy of Akram Khan Durrani, senior leader of the Jammiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl. LONDON (DNA) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on Friday reached Abu Dhabi on their way back Pakistan to face the jail sentence awarded by an accountability court in the Avenfield reference. Maryam, Hussain Nawaz’s sons detained in London for scuffling with protester
LONDON: (DNA) – The United Kingdom (UK) police on Thursday arrested Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid and Hussain Nawaz’s son Zikeriya in London. Junaid Safdar and Zakariya Hussain have been detained for assaulting a protester outside the Avenfield Apartments. In his defence, Junaid said that protesters had spitted on him and tried to attack him outside their residence. According to reports, Junaid Safdar was arrested and handcuffed by the police. Second solar eclipse of the year today
LAHORE, (DNA) – The second solar eclipse of the year is set to occur in several countries of the world including Pakistan (Friday). The first solar eclipse happened in the beginning of the year on Janury 31. Astronomers say that the eclipse will begin at 1:48pm. The total solar eclipse will occur at 3:01pm and will end at 4:13pm.
