Circular debt and late-payments: ‘Chinese investors may withdraw from Pak power sector’

ISLAMABAD: (DNA) – Amid the ballooning power sector’s circular debt, private sector investors have expressed the apprehension that Chinese investors may withdraw their investment from the sector due to late payment of their dues. Textile exports increase to $1.204 billion in May

KARACHI: (DNA) –  Textile exports clocked in at $1.204 billion for May, up 28.4 percent year-on-year and 4.8 percent month-on-month, official data showed on Wednesday. Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) data showed that textile exports amounted to $938 million in May last year and $1.148 billion in April. Nawaz says Kulsoom still in critical condition

LONDON, (DNA) – Talking to media here in London today, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday stated that his better half’s condition was still critical. He informed media personnel that CT scan of Kulsoom Nawaz was carried out today whereas he regretted that he was not here in London during Kulsoom’s tough hours.
