Two civilians, Levies personnel martyred in Quetta gun attack
QUETTA, JUN 16 (DNA) – Three people, including a member of the Balochistan Levies, were martyred on Saturday after coming under fire from unknown assailants in the Sariab road area of the provincial capital. The three were returning in a vehicle after offering Eid prayers when they came under attack, said police officials. A large contingent of law enforcement personnel reached the site of the incident and started an initial investigation. The bodies of the martyred personnel were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
Erdogan phones Shahbaz, inquires about health of Kulsoom Nawaz
LAHORE, JUN 16 (DNA) – Turkey s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday telephoned Pakistan Muslim League chief Shahbaz Sharif and inquired about the health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is under treatment at London’s Harley Street Clinic after suffering a heart attack. Tayyip Erdogan also expressed good wishes for Nawaz Sharif. Both the leaders also discussed bilateral relations during telephonic conversation.
