Mango production competition planned in Lahore

LAHORE, JUNE 02 (DNA) – The Punjab Agriculture department has planned to hold Mango Production Competition 2018-19 in Lahore with an objective to boost per acre yield of the fruit. A spokesman of Agriculture department Najaf Abbas said that growers from Multan, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Vehari, Bahawalnagar and Jhang districts would be eligible to take part in the competition. Deadlock over name of caretaker Balochistan CM continues

QUETTA, JUNE 02 (DNA) – Stalemate over nomination of a caretaker Chief Minister is still continuing In Balochistan as no final decision has yet been taken. In this connection, four rounds of talks have been held between former Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qaddus Bizenjo and former Leader of Opposition in Balochistan Provincial Assembly Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal. Another round of talks is expected to be held today (Saturday). However, if consensus could not be reached, the issue would be submitted to the Parliamentary Committee of the House for its consideration.


Uzbekistan simplifies visa procedure for Pakistani businessmen

ECP to move SC against LHC verdict to nullify changes in nomination papers

ISLAMABAD, JUNE 02 (DNA) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday has decided to approach Supreme Court (SC) against Lahore High Court (LHC) decision to annul the nomination papers prepared by the parliament. Sindh caretaker chief minister sworn in
