Divided MQM to separately observe Foundation Day

KARACHI, MAR 18 (DNA) – A divided Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is set to hold separate ceremonies to celebrate Foundation Day. In light of recent internecine infighting among the MQM, especially between the PIB and Bahadurabad factions, the former has decided to hold its ceremony on the flyover of Liaqatabad while the former will celebrate the Foundation Day in Nishtar Park. MQM-P had earlier divided into two groups after a dispute over the party’s nominations for Senate election. Last week, Farooq Sattar had invited party’s Bahadurabad wing to observe Foundation Day together.
