China to finance Rs 66 billion project to bring Indus River water to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, JAN 24 (DNA) – Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal has said a project costing sixty six billion rupees has been prepared to bring water from Indus River to Islamabad to meet the growing water requirements of the capital. LHC announces verdict in the petition seeking CM Shahbaz Sharif disqualification

LAHORE, JAN 24 (DNA) –  The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced the verdict in the petition filed against CM Shahbaz Sharif over his disqualification from office. LHC on Wednesday dismissed a constitutional petition seeking disqualification of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif from his office. A bench of the LHC had earlier reserved the verdict on maintainability of the petition after hearing arguments of the petitioner. Pakistan embassy official went missing along with sensitive documents
