Punjab Food Authority bans Chinse salt after scientific panel finds it hazardous for health

LAHORE, JAN 15 (DNA) – The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday banned Ajinomoto, commonly known as Chinse salt, after the authority’s scientific panel found it hazardous for health. According to the findings of the scientific panel of the PFA, Chinese salt contains Monosodium glutamate (MSG) which can cause headaches, fatigue, palpitations, nausea and vomiting, sweating, flushing and numbness of the face, more so among people who are sensitive to it. Five security personnel martyred in Turbat gun attack

TURBAT, JAN 15 (DNA) – At least five security personnel were martyred and six others injured in a gun attack near Turbat district of Balochistan on Monday. According to sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on security convoy near Shapook area of the district. As a result, a vehicle toppled, resulting in casualties.
