Salaries of govt employees raised by 10pc in Budget 2017-18
ISLAMABAD, MAY 26 (DNA) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, during his Budget 2017-18 speech on Friday, announced a salary raise for government employees in the country. A 10pc hike in salary has been given to the people working in government institutions. According to details, ad-hoc reliefs added in 2009-10 will be incorporated into the salaries. SBP to observed ‘Bank Holiday’ on May 29
MAY 26 (DNA) – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealings on May 29, 2017, which will be observed as `Bank Holiday for the purpose of deduction of Zakat, according to the notification. Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to meet today for Ramazan moon sighting
ISLAMABAD, MAY 26 (DNA) – The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today (Friday) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs at 6:00 pm for the sighting of Ramazan moon. Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will preside over the meeting. The meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will also be held today at their respective headquarters for collecting evidences with respect to the sighting or other wise of the Ramazan moon.
