Sindh IG announces reward for CTD on Karachi action

KARACHI, MAR 06, (DNA) – Inspector General of Sindh police AD Khawaja Monday announced award worth ten lakh rupee for Counterterrorism Department (CTD) for saving Karachi from a major destruction. Talking to media, the IG hailed the CTD personnel and said they saved Karachi from a major terrorism. AD Khawaja said the killed terrorist belonged to proscribed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi’s subsidiary group, adding the sleeper cells of the terrorists can never be neglected. The operations against the terrorists will continue till they are completely eliminated, he reiterated.


PM Nawaz Sharif reached Kuwait for two-day visit

ISLAMABAD, MAR 06, (DNA) -Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will embark on a two-day official visit to Kuwait from today. Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi and Chairman Board of Investment Miftah Ismail will accompany the Prime Minister on the tour. The Prime Minister will meet the Kuwaiti leadership during the visit. Important regional and international issues of mutual interest are expected to come under discussion during the visit.
