Tehmina Janjua appointed new foreign secretary of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (DNA) – The Prime Minister has  appointed Ms. Tehmina Janjua, presently serving as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, as the new Foreign Secretary. Ms. Tehmina Janjua will assume the post of Foreign Secretary in the first week of March 2017. She is a seasoned diplomat with a career spanning over 32 years. Pakistani elderly man returns to country after mistakenly crossing border

NEW DELHI, FEB 13, (DNA) – A Pakistani elderly man who mistakenly strayed across the border has returned to the country. According to the Border Security Force (BSF), the incident happened on February 10 when the 65-year-old man belonging to Sheru Khanna village crossed the border mistakenly and entered India. OVER 10 killed in Lahore suicide bomb blast

LAHORE (DNA) -At least 10 people were killed and as many as 30 were injured when a suicide bomber exploded outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore during a protest in the area on Monday, said police officials.
