Large protest outside Pakistan embassy in Kabul
Scores of protesters gathered outside the Pakistan embassy in Kabul on Friday to demonstrate against Pakistan’s alleged support for insurgents. The demonstrators also raised slogans against Pakistan Army’s intelligence arm, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Afghan media reported. ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf on Friday filed an application in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad seeking “foolproof security” in order to be able to return to Pakistan and appear in court in the judges’ detention case. Teacher, 2 students die as truck rams into a school in Bagh AJK
BAGH: A truck rammed into a state-run girls’ middle school in an Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) village near district Bagh on Friday, leaving two students and their teacher dead. The driver involved in the incident has been apprehended. Another teacher and two students were injured, police said. ISLAMABAD: The prime minister’s counsel, resuming on Friday his arguments on the Panamagate case in the Supreme Court, maintained that the evidence presented by petitioners thus far does not fulfil the requirements for the disqualification of the prime minister. Karachi; January 13, 2017 Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started providing intranet facility on few of its prime domestic flights from today.
