One dead in suicide blast at Mardan Excise and Taxation Dept

PESHAWAR: An explosion in the Mardan Excise and Taxation Department on Tuesday left at least one person dead and 18 others injured. The suicide blast took place inside the building, District Police Office (DPO) Faisal Shahzad told media. Eyewitnesses saw the attacker walking into the building, the DPO said, adding that the attacker’s suicide vest contained 8-10 kilograms of explosive material.
