Pakistan hands over dossiers to UN chief about India
NEW YORK: Three dossiers containing proof of Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan have been handed over to the United Nations, Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz told media representatives in New York.Aziz said that Pakistan’s permanent representative to UN, Dr Maliha Lodhi had shared three dossiers containing evidences pertaining to Indian interference in Balochistan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and Karachi with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Mon in a meeting.
United States Announces More Than $300,000 for Chitral Flood Assistance
Islamabad, October 2, 2015: In response to the July 2015 flash floods in the Chitral district, the United States government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is providing $326,000 this year to help repair the area’s drinking water infrastructure and agricultural economy“We are working to restore the provision of food and drinking water, and put people’s lives back on track as soon as possible,” said USAID Mission Director John Groarke. “I want the distressed families to know that the American people stand with them during these trying times.”
