ISE-10 Index witnesses bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Tuesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 10.84 points and closed at 3,660.61 points. A total of 8,700 shares were traded, which were down by 200 shares when compared with previous day’s trading of 8,900 shares. Three suspects escape from SC Lahore

LAHORE: Three suspected robbers escaped from the premises of Supreme Court’s Lahore registry on Tuesday, following the dismissal of their bail application. The suspects — Ansar, Azam and Javaid — have several cases of theft and robbery registered against them in Mankera Bhakkar police station. Police personnel escorted the three criminals to the Lahore registry of the Supreme Court for the hearing. PHC suspends death penalty awarded by military courts

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday suspended the execution of a death-row prisoner, who was sentenced to death by a military court after he was found to be involved in terrorism.
