Pakistan wants diplomatic solution to Yemen crisis: President
MADINA MUNAWARA, 20 JUNE (DNA) – President Mamnoon Hussain has unequivocally stated that Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia and would not accept any move of the Houthi rebels.In an interview in Madina Munawara, he said Pakistan wants diplomatic solution of the Yemen crisis. He said a large Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia serves as a bridge between the two countries.
SBP announces demonetization of all old design banknotes
KARACHI, June 20 (DNA): State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) extends reminder that as per Federal Government’s Gazette Notification dated June 4, 2015, the old design banknotes will cease to be legal tender with effect from December 1, 2016.In its press release, SBP has informed public with its decision of phasing out all remaining old design banknotes of Rs. 10, 50, 100 & 1000.
