Tazeen Akhtar Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s cabinet was sworn in the other day. Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has been appointed Minister for Information and broadcasting that was already expected only because of his media friendly personality and long term close relations with the big wigs of media industry. Pervaiz Rasheed headed Pakistan Television from 1997 to 1999 during last Government of Nawaz Sharif. As the Chairman of state owned TV, his performance was remarkable.
