16 CTD officials booked under anti-terror law: Shireen Mazari
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari on Tuesday said that First Information Report (FIR) under terrorism clauses has been lodged against 16 people involved in Sahiwal incident.
Speaking on the floor of the Lower House of the Parliament, she said that 16 personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), who were involved in Sahiwal incident, have been apprehended.
She said that 10 of the CTD officials were in uniform while six officials had been in plain clothes.
The minister said that the FIR lodged over Sahiwal incident includes Section 302 and 7-ATA of the constitution.
