Change in 18th Amendment, NFC award is inevitable: Fawad Chaudhry
LAHORE, Feb 06 (DNA): Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad
Chaudhry has said that change in 18th amendment and the NFC award is
inevitable.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Federal Minister responded to PPP Chairman
Bilawal Bhutto’s statement that since day one, PTI has been trying to
change the 1973 Constitution and the 18th Amendment and abolish the BISP
and NFC award.
Fawad Chaudhry said that it was obvious that when one gets Rs 1000
billion per year without any accountability as to where and how it is
spent, one would not let it go easily.
But he further said that the country could no longer afford this luxury
and that changes in the 18th Amendment and NFC award were inevitable.
