Balouchistan 9 trade bodies barred from casting vote In FPCCI election today

LAHORE Dec 30 – In compliance of Balouchistan High Court nine trade bodies including Quetta women chamber were barred from casting votes in annual election of the federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry being held today.
Mrs Sonia and Mrs Mehreen Akhtar nominees of Quetta Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry were also restrained from casting votes.
Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai former President FPCCI and provincial chief UBG and Haji Jamal Uddin Achakzai had challenged the validity of these trade bodies and their votes.
Affected trade bodies included Pakistan Transport Association,Ghee exporters association of Pakistan,Pakistan Scrap association,Scrap Importers Pakistan,Gas Heaters Importers association of Pakistan, all Pakistan copper association Pakistan,all Pakistan land customs agent association.all Pakistan glass manufacturers importers and exporters association of Pakistan, oil importers association and Quetta Women Chamber of chambers and industry
Chairman UBG Iftikhar Ali Malik hailing decision said it will pave way for conducting fair free transparent election of an apex trade bodies. He alleged that their rivals Businessman panel and outgoing Fpcci president Anjum Nisar manoeuvred these voter and won the election on the basis of these bogus votes.
