10th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto observed

LARKANA, DEC 26 (DNA) – The 10th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto observed to mark the day, while a number of events planned throughout country and people from different corners thronged Garhi Khuda Bux.
On the eve of BB’s anniversary, Pakistan Peoples Party (Parliamentarian), Pakistan Peoples Party (Shaheed Bhutto), PPP-Workers group separately arranged events and camps, flags installed at different routes from Larkana to Naudero.
The foolproof security arrangements have been made around 7000 police and other security personnel deployed at various enroutes to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where Entry to Mazar of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto after walk-through gates and checking with metal detectors have been arranged.
The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on December 27, 2017, being a former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, she was assassinated on December 27, 2007, while led a rally in Rawalpindi. In this regard all departments, schools and academic institutions will remain closed on Wednesday.
The Bhutto family members and Party workers will offer Fateha and Quaran khani early morning, while Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other leaders laid floral wreaths at the mazars of Benazir Bhutto and other Bhutto family.
Before the public meeting, special arrangement of mushaira is organized in-front Mausoleum of Bhutto Family at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto in which noted poets will pay homage to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto through their poetry.
Later, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairman PPP and former President Asif Ali Zardari along with central and provincial leaders will address the public meeting to pay tribute to the great leader in recognition of her life-long struggle for the cause of democracy and protection of rights of the people.=DNA
