RIYADH, JUL 28 (DNA) -Director of the GPH (General Presidency for Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque), ash-Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmaan ibn ‘Abdil-‘Azeez as-Sudays has confirmed the readiness of the GPH to serve the guests at Allaah’s Sacred House.

He also confirmed the availability of all amenities they would require in order to perform their acts of worship in comfort, ease, and safety.

 His eminence inaugurated implementation of media plans for Hajj 1440h at GPH headquarters in Makkah and he mentioned that the plans for this Hajj include 140 initiatives as well as a number of elements related to work development, performance enhancement, human resource training, and working around the clock to ensure that Hujjaaj at Allaah’s Sacred House and visitors at the Prophet’s Mosque are provided with the best of services.

This demonstrates the efforts and diligence of the nation’s leadership – may Allaah grant it continued success – related to the Two Holy Mosques, as well as its care for all of the worshippers who come to them. This further demonstrates the leadership’s adherence to its principles as well as striving to actualize its Vision 2030 and its National Transformation Program 2020.

The GPH Director, noted that the Hajj 1440h plan aims to achieve several objectives which include assisting the guests of Allaah in performing their acts of worship with ease, calm, and tranquility, without any significant obstacles.

Resources will be harnessed at the service of Allaah’s guests, care will be taken to use wisdom and effective methods in providing them with direction, necessary amenities will be made available, and all of these have been prepared meeting the standards which the nation’s leadership aspires to be met.

Altogether, this serves to reflect the true brilliant image of Islam in light of the moderation and sound beliefs which distinguish this nation.

He also explained that the Hajj 1440h plan will be put into effect by more than 10,000 qualified male and female staff members by way of the Human Resources division in the Two Holy Mosques supervising all tasks, in addition to the caretaking staff.

His eminence further stated that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is keen to ensure safety, security, and ease for all of Allaah’s guests. This allows them to remain focused on the act of worship they came to perform. Hajj is a sacred act of worship and it is not appropriate to make it an arena for propaganda or sectarianism, or to politicize it and remove it from its religious function.

In addition, he clarified that the GPH provides live translation in ten languages for Friday sermons delivered in the Two Holy Mosques, in order to convey the noble message of Islam to the masses of Hujjaaj. There will also be live translation provided for the sermon in ‘Arafah for the benefit of the Hujjaaj in their various languages.

He requested that all GPH staff rise to shouldering the task of providing the best of services at the Two Holy Mosques, ensuring that all necessary preparations from all GPH departments are in place, and honouring the directives of the nation’s leadership in receiving the masses coming for Hajj this year: 1440h.-DNA
