100 Afghans arrive in Pakistan via Torkham
PESHAWAR, Sep 04 (DNA): A hundred Afghan citizens with valid travel
documents have arrived in Pakistan through the Torkham crossing.
The Afghans were issued visas by the Pakistan embassy in Kabul and their
names communicated to Torkham-based officials by the Interior Ministry
in Islamabad.
Over the last few days, hundreds of Afghans, mostly men, have crossed
into Pakistan via Torkham. But officials said they had no idea about the
actual destinations of the Afghans. DNA
