Two thalassemia patients die due to non provision of blood
FAISALABAD, MAY 19 – / DNA) = Two innocent children suffering from the disease of Thalassemia died in Faisalabad due to non provision of boold.
People were donating blood to innocent children because of the epidemic of Faisalabad but now because of coronovirs people have stopped donating blood.
They are now reluctant to donate blood Due to which the lives of innocent children are at stake.
Two children have died due to non provision of blood include 13-year-old Khadija son of Muhammad Sarfraz Faisalabad resident and 10-year-old Mudassar son of Munir Ahmed who was a resident of Chak No. 68 JB.
The mother of the dying child said that my baby needed blood every fortnight.
When I saw a shortage of blood, I donated my blood , but doctors refused to take my blood. My baby died in front of my eyes she moaned.
Ali Zeb Foundation Coordinator Madam Saima Siddique said that there are about 3,000 registered patients in Faisalabad. There has been a 50% reduction in blood donations in view of the Karna epidemic by blood donors ,about 100 sick children in Faisalabad who need blood every 15 to 20 days
Donations from blood donors have declined in the wake of the Corona epidemic
In these circumstances, donate blood to donors, taking all precautionary measures to save the lives of Children.
