Reham Khan’s controversial book released online

LAHORE , (DNA) – With barely days left for elections, Reham Khan, former BBC weather girl and ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday released her book online and it reveals some shocking details about the PTI chairman.
Releasing the book ahead of elections is quite controversial in itself, to say the least.

The e-version of Reham Khan’s much-awaited biography is now available for readers on Amazon.com.

Months after excerpts from her manuscript were leaked, the former BBC weather girl’s book finally came out on Thursday. Reham writes in depth about her 10-month marriage, detailing the political atmosphere and the leaders in Pakistan at that point.

She alleges that Imran Khan was a free-loader, one who abused politicians. She writes how vegetables and other food items were “never bought” and were gifts by various leaders, including Jahangir Tareen, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary.

Earlier, Reham Khan’s former husband Ijaz Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, British Pakistani businessman Zulfi Bukhari and Anila Khawaja, female activist linked with PTI sent legal notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife over her controversial book.

The pandora box opened when actor Hamza Ali Abbasi took to social media and claimed that he had somehow read the manuscript of book written by Reham Khan.

The notice claimed that on page 402 and 572 of the book, malicious allegations were leveled against former cricketer Wasim Akram’s late wife.

The notice would be dismissed if Reham removes the “malicious content” besides stating her sources.

The PTI chairman’s ex-wife in her book also leveled allegations on Imran Khan’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari of aborting a woman’s child in London.
