PTI plans to induct new economic player in Punjab
LAHORE (DNA) – Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Akram Chaudhry on Tuesday resigned from his post as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) plans to appoint Dr Salman Shah as the Adviser.
Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar’s adviser Akram Chaudhry had been requested to tender resignation from his post after the number count for CM’s adviser had reached its constitutional limit.
Sources said that following Akram Chaudhry’s resignation, the government is appointing Dr Salman Shah.
Akram Chaudhry has been offered Chairmanship of Punjab Food Authority.
Sources further said that the provincial government was facing difficulties in revenue recovery and budget.
