Mumtaz Bhutto will soon merge party with PTI, claims Arif Alvi
KARACHI, AUG 25 (DNA) – Arif Alvi, president of Sindh chapter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has asserted on Thursday that Mumtaz Bhutto would soon merge the political party with Imran Khan-led PTI.
Alvi addressed a joint press conference in Sukkur with another senior leader of PTI Liaquat Jatoi at his residence.
Alvi laid bare that first cousin of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mumtaz Bhutto was offered to merge his political front in PTI. He is hopeful that Bhutto would accept the offer and join PTI.
While addressing the media conference, Alvi said that Sukkur is a PPP stronghold which is why the infrastructure and condition of facilities are disappointing. He claimed that PTI would form government in Sindh after General Elections 2018 and corrupt leaders should stand warned.
On the occasion, Liaquat Jatoi said that BIlawal, chairman of Pakistan People s Party (PPP) should be careful when talking about corruption as he would not be able to conduct politics in Sindh if corruption of PPP exposed.
He alleged that Sindh chief minister Murad Ali Shah transfers Rs 5 billion every month to co-chair of PPP Asif Ali Zardari.
Jatoi further said that he respects Fatima Bhutto for she belongs to a family which stood for democracy in Pakistan.
