Indian media forced to acknowledge Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan achieved another success at the diplomatic level as Indian media has been forced to acknowledge Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process.
According to The Times of India, “Pakistan joined the US, Russia and China over the weekend to craft a peace agreement with the Taliban, a development that shows Islamabad has moved to the centerstage of the Afghan peace process, and how India has been dealt out of the future of Afghanistan. India’s participation or voice has been negligible in the evolving situation, while Pakistan has used the opportunity to manoeuvre itself to centerstage of the region’s geopolitics.”
The daily newspaper admitted that New Delhi’s role has been negligible in the evolving situation as India is nowhere in the peace negotiations.
