Imran Khan smells a “deal” in Dawn leak issue settlement
ISLAMABAD: Calling for the release of Dawn Leak’s inquiry report, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said the nation needs to know what was “settled” between the army and government.
“Dawn Leaks issue was never about army & government. It was about national security. The whole nation now needs to know what was “settled”,” Khan said in his first response about the Dawn Leaks which amicably resolved by the army and civilian government.
DG ISPR Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor withdrew his tweet on Dawn Leak’s notification while the interior ministry issued a new notification, including Senator Pervaiz Rashid’s name in the statement.
Imran Khan argued that Hillary Clinton said she lost because of security issue over her email leaks.
“Here nation is kept in dark on how national security breach has been resolved. The manner in which Dawn Leak issue resolved shows clearly there is one law for the powerful and another law for the weak,” he said.
