It is certainly praiseworthy to take the initiative to receive the month properly by repenting to Allaah, reading the Qur’aan much with contemplation, pardoning and reconciling with others, setting grudges and malice aside, keeping the heart clean, desisting from fighting each other, remaining united, thinking well of others, giving charity, extending kindness, keeping our Ummah together, avoiding disputes and division, promoting moderation, maintaining security and peace, remaining loyal, having a sense of belonging to our nation, making respectable use of traditional and new media platforms, and utilizing modern technology to serve our religion and the safety of our nations.”=DNA
