LALAMUSA , NOV 10 (DNA) -Brisk political activities regarding coming local bodies elections for reserved seats of the UCs, MCs,District council, and nomination of candidates for the slots of chairman district council,city mayor of Gujrat are going on in the offices  of respective political parties.

As the PML (N) is the dominating wining party in the Gujrat district,therefore their offices are humming with visible political doings where PML(N)leaders,p ossible candidates are seen engaged in  deliberations.

In this connection Mian Tariq Mehmood MPA of Dinga town hosted a grand reception in the honor of UCs chairmen, apparently to show his electoral strength,which was also participated by MNAs, MPAs,senior district party leaders, except Ch. Abid Raza MNA, Ch. Jaffar Iqbal MNA,which according to independent political observers,indicate a gap in the PML(N)ranks in district.

It is learnt that Mian Tariq Mehmood intends his son Mian Sherafgan,C h. Abid Raza, proposes his brother Ch. Tanveer kotla whereas Nawabzada family wishes Nawabzada Tahir-ul-mulk as a party candidate for the politically big slot of chairman district council which  according to same independent political circles,has created a cleft among them.

However the PML(N) denies it.Moreover it would be a Herculean task for the provincial PML(N)high-ups to nominate a censes candidate. However Haji NasarMehmood ex.MPA, uncle of the Haji Imran Zafar,is the  only and one  fortunate candidate, who till the filing of this report has no other PML(N) aspirant for the second attractive seat of mayor of Gujrat city.

While addressing the participants of the cited reception PML (N) district president Malik Hanif maintained that as the phase of nomination of candidates for the reserved seats of UCs was completed amicably similarly candidate for district chairman will also be nominated and final decision of the high command of the party will be acceptable to every party worker, he hoped.

He also stressed upon the need of unity among party ranks.On the other hand PML(Q)with the feeble support of PTI is also in the arena but their activities seems to be slow.=DNA
