Corona virus cases increasing in France
PARIS (DNA) -There have been reports of rapid increase in Coronavirus cases in France over the last few days. The Embassy of Pakistan is closely monitoring the situation and is deeply concerned about the well-being of our community members. Especially, about those who reside in Oise region which contains the highest number of cases.
The French authorities are taking appropriate measures to contain the spread of virus. In some of the affected areas, public schools have been closed and large public gatherings have been cancelled/postponed. To answer questions regarding Coronavirus a hotline ( 0800 130 000) has been established by the French Government.
It is imperative that we all remain cautious and take the following precautionary measures: –
- Avoid unnecessary physical contact.
. Avoid touching face with bare hands.
- Wash hands frequently.
- Keep our surroundings clean by using disinfectant.
- Cover mouth while coughing and sneezing and consult doctor in case of
prolonged cough, fever and difficulty in breathing.
