Azerbaijan embassy distributes wheel chairs
ISLAMABAD, OCT 28 (DNA) – The Azerbaijan embassy, on behalf of the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) distributed wheel chairs among the special children at a function held at Al-Farabi on Wednesday.
Federal Minster for CADD Usman Ibrahim was the chief guest on the occasion. Ambassador of Azerbaijan Dashign Shikarov while speaking on the occasion said, that he was happy to distribute wheel chairs among the needy children on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
He added, AIDA was responsible for the provision of international humanitarian and development assistance by the Republic of Azerbaijan. AIDA supports the efforts of developing countries through its programs in the areas of pverty reduction, development of science, culture etc.
He added, the agency has been extending its cooperation to various projects in Pakistan such as Baitul Maal.=DNA
