ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizade called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at the Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.

The ambassador remained with the Naval Chief for quite some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy excellent relations. Pakistan is keen to take part in the rebuilding and rehabilitation process initiated in the recently liberated areas.

Both countries support each other on regional as well as global forums. Pakistan whole-heartedly supported Azerbaijan in its war against aggressor Armenia.

Likewise Azerbaijan supports Pakistani stand on the issue of Kashmir.=DNA
